Bath’s nightlife just got a unique new addition to the cocktail scene! Bootlegger Bars has officially landed in the city, bringing its signature 1920s-inspired speakeasy vibes, incredible cocktails, and live music that keeps the party going all night long. Naturally, I had to check it out for myself – and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
Stepping Into the Speakeasy
From the moment I walked through the doors, Bootlegger Bars transported me straight into the Prohibition era. Think dim lighting, vintage decor, and a buzzing atmosphere filled with the sounds of jazz and swing. It was the perfect mix of old-school charm and modern energy, making it instantly one of my new favourite spots in Bath.
🎶 Live Music & Atmosphere
The place was packed – but in the best way possible. Live performances filled the room with infectious jazz and blues, setting the perfect backdrop for a lively night out. The dance floor was full of people soaking up the Bootlegger experience, and honestly, it was impossible not to get swept up in the fun.
🍸 The Cocktails – My Top Picks!
I take my cocktails seriously, so of course, I had to put the menu to the test.
Here are my absolute favourites from the night:
- Cherry Bakewell 🍒🥂 – A dream of a drink made with Disaronno, Giffard cherry syrup, and cherries, topped with prosecco. It was sweet, smooth, and honestly too easy to drink (2 for £16 during happy hour!).
- Salted Caramel Espresso Martini ☕🍸 – The perfect mix of rich espresso, caramel sweetness, and a touch of salt, making it the ultimate pick-me-up. And with 2 for £16 during happy hour, it was impossible to resist!
- Ginny Hendricks 🍐🍋 – A refreshing and slightly spicy mix of Hendrick’s gin, pear liqueur, elderflower syrup, and lemon, topped with ginger beer (£12.50). This one was dangerously good and will definitely be a go-to for summer nights!
Final Verdict: Will I Be Back?
Absolutely! Bootlegger Bars Bath is the perfect spot for a night out with friends, after-work drinks, or even a cheeky midweek cocktail. The happy hour deals are decent, the live music is next-level, and the whole vibe makes it stand out from anything else in Bath right now.
